Reminiscent of Iman and Tyra Banks in their supermodel days, 23-year-old international model Paris Chanel is the type of woman that induces whiplash when she walks into a room. Currently travelling around the world shooting for her latest projects, she gives us a moment to let us in on how to catch her attention, and swimming with sharks.
What do you think is most sexy about yourself?
My intellect. Most people look at my images and think that my body is all that I have to offer, but once they hear me speak about a topic that I am passionate about, they have an entirely different perspective of who I am.
What’s the sexiest gift you’ve given someone?
I gave a guy a Rolex watch. I think that’s pretty sexy lol. Can’t beat a Rolex.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
I swam with sharks, stingrays, and piranhas. I was definitely afraid the entire time.
What’s one thing people will never forget about you?
People often mention how my being humble is very rare in this industry and will take me far in my career.
You’re currently travelling the world and shooting while you go, what was Cancun like?
Cancun was a dream come true. It was the most beautiful place that I have ever seen. I didn’t know that water could be so beautiful. I had 9 photo shoots while in Cancun, and they all took my career to new heights.
If you weren’t modelling professionally, what would you be doing right now?
I would be working in a corporate office as a financial analyst.
Do you have a “type” that you typically fall for?
I love a tall, sexy, intelligent, hardworking, and ambitious man.
What was the worst/weirdest date you’ve ever been on?
I honestly haven’t had a weird or worst date. I definitely hope that it stays that way.
What is the worst thing a guy can do when trying to pick up a gal as hot as you are?
Not be himself. I am not a fan of the cliché pick-up lines. Come to me correct and with respect.
Do you have a celeb crush? Who would that be?
I have two huge celeb crushes. Usher was the first man that I ever set my eyes on, literally. My second crush is comedian/actor, Affion Crockett. I would so marry him lol.
Is there anyone in the entertainment industry you look up to and have tried to shape your own career after?
I am a huge fan of the South African, Candice Swanepoel, and Chanel Iman. Their work gives me life. I hope to one day follow in their footsteps.
What is the most fun you’ve ever had on a shoot before? What made that experience so memorable?
I had tons of fun on all of my shoots in Cancun and in South Africa. It was so memorable, because the atmosphere was just indescribable. Great people and the sounds of the beach were just amazing and an overall good time.
What 3 words best describe your life?
Spontaneous, family-based, and goodtime!
What’s your best piece of advice to men?
Treat your lady like a queen, because please believe that another man will.
What’s your best piece of advice to women?
Ladies cook for your man and don’t be boring. If you aren’t giving him what he needs, he will go and find it elsewhere.
