The problem with most penthouses is they’re stuck atop tall buildings. But not Rev House.
This water-based luxury home away from home (“houseboat” just seems so completely inadequate) exudes the exclusivity of The Hamptons, but with the self-contained freedom of a yacht.
Naturally, much of the layout of this German-designed vessel/residence is at your whim. For instance, perhaps you’d care for the coziness of a fireplace, floor heating, hot tub and sauna. Or maybe you’re more the underwater lighting type. Hey, whatever floats your home.
Speaking of which, it could be crafted with sunset soirees, day getaways or longer stays in mind, incorporating such off-the-grid conveniences as sewage treatment systems, filtered drinking water and large walk-in closets.
Either way, you’ll be proud to host gatherings from two to 20 or more on the 1,076-square foot terrace. Just be sure to stock up on the Dom before each outing. You can never have too much of that on hand.
Of course, at the end of the day, this motorised escape could just be your own little floating fortress of solitude. After all, you deserve it.
