2020 can’t come soon enough for fans of cool Ford Broncos, when Ford’s revived version of the 4×4 hits showrooms. Traditionalists who won’t be satisfied by any new wannabe Bronco don’t have to wait, however, thanks to Gateway Bronco in St. Louis, which offers better-than-new upgraded 1966-’77 Broncos built to order
The Restomod Fuelie model from Gateway includes a fuel-injected 347-cubic inch stroked version of Ford’s Coyote 5.0 crate motor and the option of either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic.
Four-wheel disc brakes with a front/rear proportioning valve ensures that this souped-up Bronco stops as well as it accelerates with its boosted power.
